The 24-year-old man who was arrested in an Ontario BONTEA parking lot for allegedly obstructing a police officer has taken his own life, according to sources close to the situation.
Video shows the man, identified as Moses Demian of Scarborough, ON, being handcuffed after a brief interaction with police in which Demian allegedly swore at officers. In the viral video, the officer can be heard telling Demian that he had told him to "go f–ck himself" after asking for ID, to which Demian responds "No, I didn't!"

A GoFundMe launched for Demian states that "The Demians have not requested any financial help but as those who love them, we want to ensure that they do not have to face any additional burden as a result of the costs associated with a memorial or funeral."
"Moses will always be loved. He will never be forgotten; he lives forever in the hearts of those who loved him and those closest to him. We ask that if possible, you support the family with donations in addition to prayers during this time," the GoFundMe continues.
Demian was part of a car enthusiast group AntiHoonHoonClub, who meet at BONTEA every week to support small businesses during lockdown, according to the group's Instagram.
Antihoonhoonclub posted on Instagram paying tribute Demian, saying that he passed away "sometime yesterday Monday January 4, 2020." A reply states that "according to his friends, it was suicide."
