Instagram deletes then reinstates account of mother blasting Biden over death of Marine son

.

Instagram deleted an account belonging to the grieving mother of a Marine killed during the suicide bomb attack at Kabul airport last week, only to reactivate it Monday night due to an “error” after being questioned by the Washington Examiner.

Instagram, which is owned by Facebook, said in an email that the deactivation was an “error,” adding, “We express our deepest condolences to Ms. Chappell and her family. Her tribute to her heroic son does not violate any of our policies.”

HELLISH LIVING CONDITIONS ARE THE NEW KABUL REALITY

Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui, 20, and 12 other service members were killed last week in a bomb blast while standing outside a gate at the Kabul airport talking to Afghans. Nikoui’s mother, Shana Chappell, has been on social media blasting President Joe Biden as being responsible for the attack due to troop withdrawal policies. Her husband has done the same in media interviews.

“It seems Instagram took it upon themselves to delete my account because i am assuming it was because i gained so many followers over my sons death due to Biden’s negligence, ignorance and him being a traitor!” Chappell wrote on Facebook Monday. “I’m gonna assume that Facebook is gonna delete me next! Funny how these leftist one sided pieces of crap don’t want the truth to come out!”

She posted a screenshot of a black Instagram page that said, “Your account has been disabled. Follow the next steps within 30 days so you can request a review.”

When Chappell started posting to Instagram about Nikoui’s death, the company began sending threatening warnings related to posts she had done a month ago, she wrote.

Chappell attended Nikoui’s homecoming at Dover Air Force Base Sunday only out of respect for her son, she said, but then she eviscerated Biden in a personal conversation.

“Remember i am the one who stood 5 inches from your face and was letting you know i would never get to hug my son again, hear his laugh and then you tried to interrupt me and give me your own sob story and i had to tell you ‘that this isn’t about you so don’t make it about you!!!’” Chappell wrote.

“You then said you just wanted me to know that you know how i feel and i let you know that you don’t know how i feel and you do not have the right to tell me you know how i feel! U then rolled your f—ing eyes in your head like you were annoyed with me….i then proceeded to tell you again how you took my son away from me and how i will never get to hug him, kiss him, laugh with him again etc… u turned to walk away and i let you know my sons blood was on your hands and you threw your hand up behind you as you walked away from me.”

Conservative congressional members have grilled Facebook, Twitter, and Google executives in hearings on censorship, saying this is a leftist ploy to quash the voices of the Right. Facebook and Twitter often claim that content removal or account suspensions are errors. The latest high-profile example was with Republican House Member Marjorie Taylor Greene, who was suspended from Twitter.
