US President Donald Trump announced that he will be leaving the "great Walter Reed Medical Centre" today at 6:30 pm.

Trump and First Lady Melania Trump tested positive for the coronavirus late Thursday night. Trump was airlifted to the medical centre Friday evening out of an abundance of caution at the advise of his doctors.

"Don't be afraid of COVID," said the president in a tweet. "Don't let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!" said the president.

Yesterday, the president was chauffeured around the Walter Reed Medical Centre, where he waved and thanked supporters who were outside.
