- Hadley Palmer, 53, was charged in October with filming underage kids in her Connecticut mansion
- The details of the case are largely unknown but she was given a plea deal which sentences her to a maximum of five years in prison
- A judge has not yet signed off on that plea deal but she is already in prison
- Palmer is locked up at the York Correctional Facility in Connecticut, a women's prison that has 'Mommy and Me' programs and where abused animals are cared for by inmates
- Her three minor victims have not been identified - all are being represented by different attorneys
- Those attorneys say they are grateful that the case is being kept under seal
- Palmer's husband Bradley, whom she is divorcing, has not commented
- It remains unclear who reported her to the authorities; child psychologist Jerome Brodlie has also been charged for failing to report her abuse
The Connecticut socialite mother-of-four charged with filming minors from her $10million mansion took inappropriate videos of three children, including one who was under the age of 15.
Hadley Palmer, 53, was charged in October with taking inappropriate videos of minors.
More serous charges of involving a minor in a sex act were also on the table but she struck a secret plea deal which was only made public this week, that will see her convicted of voyeurism charges.
It's unclear how exactly she came to be arrested or what her relationships with the victims are.
The videos were taken in 2017 and 2018, at her $10million mansion in Belle Haven, Connecticut.

Hadley Palmer, 53, is in currently in prison in Connecticut despite the fact she hasn't been sentenced yet. She pleaded guilty to three counts of voyeurism and the judge is yet to accept her plea deal. She had been charged with more serious crimes against underage victims

Palmer has four kids with her estranged ex-husband Bradley. She filed for divorce in 2020 and it's unclear what the status of their divorce is.
Today, she is in the York Correctional Facility in East Lyme, Connecticut, where she is already serving time despite not having been sentenced yet. The plea deal she struck recommends between 90 days and five years behind bars.
It is unclear if she is trying to get a head-start on her sentence, which will not be decided upon until August.
There are at least three different lawyers representing the three victims.
They told The New York Times that they were glad the case is being kept private, and that it was for their benefit.
The entire case is raising questions of whether Palmer, the daughter of hedge fund pioneer Jerrold Fine, is receiving preferential treatment because of her extreme privilege.
Palmer is currently one of 600 inmates at the York Correctional Facility in Connecticut

When she was arrested, she immediately filed for what is called 'accelerated rehabilitation' - a type of probation program whereby defendants charged with minor crimes can have their file sealed.
It is a program reserved for first-time offenders. It can be applied to defendants charged with Class C felonies, but only with 'good cause'.
Palmer was granted it and the file was therefore kept secret.
Now, Judge John F. Blawie has ruled that the case will remain secret to protect the children.
Property records indicate the Palmer family also owns this property in nearby Old Greenwich, CT
The family also own this property on Martha's Vineyard where in 2018, kids held a house party and used it as their base to vandalize other properties on the posh island
'If the defendant may be considered as having thrust herself into the public spotlight by virtue of her wrongful behavior and subsequent prosecution, the same may not be said of those parties already adversely impacted by this case,' he wrote in a decision on Wednesday.
Child psychologist Dr. Jerome Brodlie was charged for failing to report the alleged abuse
The York women's prison where she currently is is the state's only female prison.
It is a high security prison but it runs programs like a 'Mommy and Me' visitation schedule for the inmates and their daughters, and it allows the inmates to look after abused farm animals in a program known as 'Second Chance' Large Animal Rehabilitation Facility.
As of January 2022, there were 613 inmates in the prison.
Attorneys for two of the victims did not respond to DailyMail.com's requests on Tuesday, nor did an attorney for Dr. Boglie or Palmer's attorney.
