WASHINGTON (7News) — The area around CIA's headquarters in McLean, Virginia was closed for a time on Friday afternoon due to police activity.
A suspicious electronic device that was placed on a sidewalk column was being investigated, and SkyTrak7 spotted an explosive ordnance disposable robot inspecting it.
The culprit, according to a statement that came later in the day from CIA officials: A remote for a dog training collar.
The roads leading to the headquarters' entrance were reopened after bomb squad investigators gave the all-clear.
In early May, there was a closure in the same area after an FBI agent shot and killed a suspect.
