Tennessee's bill that would allow for permitless carry of a handgun in the state has passed another step in the General Assembly.

A Senate Finance, Ways, and Means Committee recommended what is commonly called "Constitutional Carry" for passage on Tuesday and referred the measure to a Senate Calendar Committee.

HB0018/SB0318 was introduced by Rep. Bruce Griffey (R-Paris) and Sen. Joey Hensley (R-Hohenwald).
